Vanished

Spokane Washington, 2:00 pm on a beautiful sunny day. I am jonah your weather man and local missing reporter.. Two young adult male friends were reported missing in a campsite they were said to be camping in, when their father arrived to help them pack up he was faced with an empty campsite their belongings still in the tents.

“Danny?” Dean gasped,

“I’m right here Dean, are you ok?”

“Yeah as far as I can tell, just wedged between two rocks after that slide.”

“Good, I am on my way to help you hold tight.”

Danny just a few feet from Dean crawled out of the divot he landed in after the slide through the floor of the forest. Examining himself for wounds before he stood,

“Alright Dean where are you?”

“Marco!” Dean called from another divot on the far side of the odd rock platform,

“Pollo I here you.”

Danny made way towards Dean steadily over the uneven rocks, grabbing his friends hand he pulled hin up. The two pulled off their backpacks, Danny pulled out a shattered but functional flashlight, while Dean pulled out a pop up lantern that added a much needed light to the dark. Observing their surroundings it was easy to surmise, they were stuck in an underground ravine of sorts.

Danny proposed the two ascend the rock face to the bottom half of the ravine to search for an outlet back to the surface. Mozying along the confined space the two happened upon a hole down further,

“Let’s try the other way Dean,”

“Agreed,”

The other end appeared to be a dead end.. That is until Danny pointed out the tunnel behind the moss wall to their left, a dim light lessened the darkness as they crept in. Astonished at the room they had found, the two..

For supper we had steak and spuds, after we slept off the combo. Come dawn the older man was already awake when i awoke finally around noon, I never slept much in that horrible place.Like the good ol days we worked the feilds
